How to replace magazine release on CZ Scorpion Evo 3

Shooters usually replace magazine release together with magwell. Other than that, installation of this part is easy and you can do it at home with a few basic tools. 

Thing to bear in mind is compatibility: these mag releases are designed to fit CZ Scorpion Evo models, not Evo 3+.

How to install mag release on CZ Scorpion Evo

What will you need

  • Hammer
  • 4 mm roll pin punch (5/32 inch)

Step by step guide

  1. Make sure you have an empty chamber.
  2. Align the punch with the pin and hammer it out.
  3. Hold the factory mag release in place when removing the punch so that the springs don't fall out.
  4. Remove the old mag release, place the spring into the new mag release and put it into its position.
  5. Align the holes and hammer the pin back in.
